Off Campus Endeavors
In addition to her sorority chapter’s community service initiatives, such as Cystic Fibrosis, House of Ruth, and Latex or No Sex, Kayla Lopez has also contributed to various volunteer efforts. She supported an animal shelter in Upland, where she ensured the proper care, feeding, exercise, and socialization of the animals. Furthermore, as part of a class project last semester, she participated in the Seeds of Joy community garden, which provides fresh produce to low-income families. In this role, she helped maintain the garden and conducted research for an upcoming seed library initiative, designed to allow visitors to exchange seeds as needed.
